SEC and CFTC Delay Form PF Amendment Compliance Deadline to 2027
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) have jointly extended the compliance deadline for the Form PF amendments, originally passed on February 8, 2024. The new deadline is set for July 1, 2027, pushed back from the previous date of October 1, 2026. The regulators stated that this extension aims to prevent reporting entities from incurring significant costs related to requirements that may be subject to future changes, while also providing additional time to review feedback on new rule proposals
