Injective (INJ) clarified that a recent network upgrade delay, which caused temporary validator jailing and exchange deposit/withdrawal pauses, was triggered by a vulnerability in a small number of binary options applications. The mainnet, underlying protocols, and native assets remain secure. Injective has patched the vulnerability and plans to implement enhanced monitoring and security measures to prevent future incidents.
