Huntress Warns of Sophisticated Malware Campaigns Targeting Crypto Wallets

Security firm Huntress reports that hackers are using fake Google Docs, malicious GitHub files, and spoofed Claude.ai pages to distribute malware. Attackers impersonating CoinDesk staff on X are luring victims into installing software that steals browser data, wallet credentials, and Telegram files. Additional threats include malicious browser extensions and fake search engine ads targeting EVM, Solana, and Tron wallets.
