Market Anticipates 10-15% Price Hike for TSMC Foundry Services
Following Samsung Electronics' recent price increases for advanced and mature processes, market analysts expect TSMC to follow suit with a potential 10% to 15% price hike across its manufacturing processes. Reports from TrendForce and Nomura suggest that TSMC has already negotiated price adjustments for the second half of the year, with 3nm (N3) process costs rising by up to 15%. Further increases of 5% to 10% for N2, N3, and N5 processes are anticipated by early 2027. Additionally, mature processes like N12, N16, and N28 may see price hikes of up to 10%. T
