Telegram Sets Gram Wallet as Default, Rebrands Wallet to Walt

Telegram has officially designated its self-custodial Gram wallet as the default, while rebranding Wallet in Telegram to Walt. Gram wallet serves as the primary layer for transfers, payments, and purchasing Telegram Collectibles. Walt, which has evolved from a simple TON-focused tool into a comprehensive platform, now supports over 300 assets across four blockchains, tokenized stocks, ETFs, and perpetual futures. CEO Andrew Rogozov noted that the platform has expanded significantly over the past four years to include yield services and real-world assets.
