Telegram's Wallet Rebrands to Walt as New Gram Wallet Launches

Telegram's integrated wallet service has rebranded to Walt, as announced by The Open Platform (TOP) CEO Andrew Rogozov on September 27, 2026. Simultaneously, Telegram is introducing the new Gram wallet, which will replace the original tool as the default financial interface within the app. The Gram wallet is designed to serve as the primary entry point for users to manage the GRAM token, send gifts, purchase stars, and interact with the ecosystem's applications. This shift follows the rebranding of the network's native asset from toncoin (TON) to GRAM earlier in June 2026. Walt will continue to operate as a separate platform.
