Binance Pay Integrates with HIVEX to Enable Payments at PayPay Merchants in Japan

Binance announced on September 30 that eligible overseas Binance Pay users can now make payments at PayPay-supported merchants across Japan through the HIVEX network. This service, effective as of September 30, 2026, allows approximately 48 million users from over 100 countries to pay with digital assets while merchants continue to receive payments in Japanese Yen. The integration is designed to enhance the travel experience for visitors by supporting various sectors including dining, retail, and accommodation, further bridging the gap between digital asset payments and traditional fiat payment systems.
