Bitwise Launches First US NEAR ETF on NYSE Arca

Bitwise Asset Management officially launched the Bitwise NEAR ETF (NRR) on NYSE Arca on September 29, 2026, providing US investors with direct exposure to NEAR. The fund charges a 0.75% management fee and plans to stake a portion of its holdings to generate additional yield. This launch follows a 164% surge in NEAR's price over the past month, with the token trading at approximately $4.93. Growth is supported by the NEAR Intents protocol, which has seen transaction volume exceed $32 billion, up from less than $1 billion last year. Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan highlighted AI agents as a key growth driver for the network. Additionally, the NEAR Intents SHIELD system recently blocked approximately $503,000 in funds linked to the $387.5 million Bitget hack.
