Metaplex Launches MPL-3643 Compliance Standard for RWA and Tokenized Securities on Solana

Metaplex has introduced MPL-3643, a new compliance standard for permissioned real-world assets (RWA) and tokenized securities on the Solana network. The standard allows issuers to launch assets directly on-chain without using wrapped tokens, integrating features such as transfer restrictions, lock-up periods, and lifecycle management. Built on Token-2022 and other Solana protocols, MPL-3643 is currently in a limited Alpha release.
