Bitget Users Withdraw Over 4,000 BTC Following $388 Million Hack

Bitget customers withdrew more than 4,000 BTC, valued at over $334 million, within the first hour of the exchange resuming withdrawals after a $388 million security breach. CEO Gracy Chen stated that withdrawals have since stabilized and confirmed that the attack, which targeted hot wallets, exploited third-party product vulnerabilities to bypass risk controls. The exchange, which attributed the incident to North Korean hackers, is replenishing its protection fund and processing withdrawals in phases.
