Robinhood Launches AI Agents and Perpetual Futures to Attract Active Traders

At the HOOD Summit in Houston, Robinhood announced new features including expanded trading hours for select stocks and ETFs, the introduction of crypto perpetual futures, and AI agents capable of executing trades. Users can utilize OpenAI or Anthropic models within the app to research markets and create watchlists, with the 'Loops' feature allowing for automated strategy execution. Additionally, Robinhood plans to offer Bitcoin and Ether perpetual futures with up to 10x leverage for eligible U.S. customers through a partnership with Bitstamp, aiming to position itself as a primary platform for active traders.
