GoPlus Security Identifies New Rug Pull Operation on Robinhood Chain

Security firm GoPlus Security reported a new rug pull operation on Robinhood Chain on September 28, 2026, involving approximately 3,589 ETH (about 9.49 million dollars) moved over the past 30 days. The scheme utilizes a pump and dump strategy where developers distribute tokens across multiple wallets to simulate organic demand before selling to real buyers. This follows a separate report by researcher Wazz regarding 18.43 million dollars in losses on the same network. GoPlus noted that while the methods are similar, there is no evidence linking the two operations to the same group.
