Petrobras Pilots Cardano Blockchain to Track Clean Fuel Carbon Footprints

Brazilian state-owned energy company Petrobras is testing the Cardano blockchain for two research projects aimed at tracking environmental claims for low-carbon fuels. One project focuses on sustainable aviation fuel to prevent double-counting of carbon credits, while the other tracks supply chain emissions for renewable Diesel R. The projects are currently in the research phase.
