Tencent is reportedly developing a personal AI agent called 'Handy Bot' and plans to launch a standalone application. The product is currently being tested via a WeChat service account under the description 'Your Personal AI Agent.' Unlike traditional chatbots, the project aims to function as a persistent agent capable of executing background tasks. Other Chinese tech firms, including Alibaba and ByteDance, are also exploring similar personal assistant technologies as the industry shifts toward agent-based AI models.
