Bitwise lists staking NEAR ETF on NYSE Arca, pitching the token as a bet on AI agents

Bitwise Asset Management listed a spot NEAR ETF (ticker NRR) on NYSE Arca on Tuesday with a 0.75% management fee, calling it the first spot NEAR exchange-traded product in the U.S. Its institutional staking team plans to stake the tokens in-house; NEAR's annualized staking reward rate was 5.3% as of Sept. 25. Under the prospectus, 33% of staking rewards go to fees, leaving the trust about 67%. Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan pointed to NEAR Intents, which Bitwise said has handled over $32 billion in volume.
