Goldman Sachs Partner Lisa Mantil Joins Polymarket to Lead Institutional Expansion

Lisa Mantil, a partner at Goldman Sachs with a 27-year tenure, has departed the firm to join prediction market platform Polymarket. Mantil, who previously led the ETF Accelerator at Goldman Sachs, will focus on developing products for institutional clients, including banks and fund managers, to hedge against geopolitical and economic events. Polymarket is reportedly working to facilitate block trades to attract larger institutional participants as it competes with rivals like Kalshi.
