Chainlink launches CCIP 2.0 at Sibos 2026, targeting institutional cross-chain infrastructure

Chainlink launched CCIP 2.0 at Sibos 2026 in Miami on Sept. 28. It adds Cross-Chain Verifiers, a new validation layer for assets moving between blockchains, and faster-than-finality transfers, letting institutions receive assets on the destination chain before source-chain finality. It also introduced the Automated Compliance Engine (ACE) to automate compliance across networks. The protocol secures over $84 billion in cross-chain token value, with migrations above $15 billion in the past four months.
