Privacy-focused blockchain Zano (ZANO) has stabilized its network following a hotfix and a one-month rollback to address an inflation vulnerability that allowed hackers to mint unauthorized ZANO and fUSD. The team has pledged to fully recover affected balances using developer and personal funds, though the process may be delayed as exchanges verify transactions. The exploit, which occurred after the Hard Fork 6 upgrade in late August, resulted in several million dollars worth of assets being exchanged for counterfeit fUSD. Users are required to update their mobile wallets, and third-party services must update their nodes to resume operations.
