Micron's $2.75 Billion India Facility Begins Commercial Shipments
Micron Technology has transitioned its $2.75 billion Sanand, Gujarat plant from construction to full commercial production. The facility, which processes DRAM and NAND wafers into finished memory products, has already begun shipping units to Dell Technologies. Micron plans to scale assembly and testing to tens of millions of chips by 2026, with output expected to reach hundreds of millions of units by 2027.
