OpenSea Confirms Immunity to Magic Eden Security Incident, Restricts Compromised NFTs

OpenSea CTO Chris Maddern stated that the platform's systems and smart contracts remain unaffected by the recent security incident involving Magic Eden and Limit Break. OpenSea has flagged known compromised ERC-721 NFTs, preventing them from being sold, and will continue to automatically flag newly identified assets to block attackers from accessing offers. The platform is also displaying banners to users with active authorizations, providing links to help them revoke permissions. Over 3,000 NFTs have been marked as stolen and disabled for trading.
