LuxOS Expands to Equihash Mining With Antminer Z15 Pro Support

LuxOS has introduced support for the Antminer Z15 Pro, marking its first expansion into Equihash mining. Public installations are scheduled to begin on October 1, with early access available through the Luxor team. Testing indicates that the firmware provides a performance increase of approximately 14.4% to 18.0% over stock specifications, resulting in a net gain of about $4.77 per day per machine at a ZEC price of $1,200 and electricity costs of $0.07/kWh. The update includes advanced features such as frequency and voltage tuning, per-hashboard telemetry, and chip-level health monitoring.
