Tether plans to bring USDT back to Bitcoin network with support from Utexo and Morgan Stanley

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino confirmed that USDT is returning to the Bitcoin network, where it first launched in 2014. Utexo, which builds infrastructure for USDT on Bitcoin using the RGB protocol and Lightning Network, recently held discussions with Morgan Stanley regarding global adoption. Tether, along with investors like Big Brain Holdings, Portal Ventures, and Franklin Templeton, participated in Utexo's $7.5 million seed round. While Utexo has integrated its RGB Lightning module into Tether's Wallet Development Kit, the product is not yet live for general users. UniSat has been named as the next launch partner, though no release date has been set.
