Bitget Suffers $351.6 Million Security Breach

Crypto exchange Bitget confirmed a major security breach resulting in the loss of $351.6 million. Attackers compromised several hot wallets on September 24 at 18:31 UTC, moving assets across different chains and converting stablecoins into Ethereum. CEO Gracy Chen stated that the exchange's security teams detected the unauthorized transfers shortly after they began.
