Yuga Labs Executive: Payment Processor Vulnerability Impacted Over 23,000 NFTs, White Hat Operation Recovered $5.7 Milli

Yuga Labs VP of Blockchain Quit reported that a vulnerability in the Payment Processor V2 contract led to the theft of 10 Meebits, 50 Otherdeeds, 10 WoW, and 235 Desperate Apewives NFTs. Upon discovering the breach, Yuga Labs collaborated with the LimitBreak team to pause the vulnerable Payment Processor V3 and executed a white hat operation to secure assets on V2 and ApeChain. The effort successfully recovered 23,155 NFTs valued at over $5.7 million.
