On-chain investigator ZachXBT reports unpaid fees after assisting in fund recovery

On-chain investigator ZachXBT stated that he helped a user recover approximately $275,000 stolen by an Indian phone scam ring this month, but the user has since gone silent while remaining active on X. ZachXBT noted that since June 2026, three individuals have failed to pay agreed-upon fees totaling about $100,000 after he successfully assisted them. Consequently, he will no longer respond to unsolicited direct messages and will only handle cases referred by trusted mutual contacts.
