Morgan Stanley Becomes Strategic Partner of NEXTPredict, to Explore Institutional Capital Entering Prediction Markets

Morgan Stanley has become a strategic partner of the NEXTPredict prediction-market summit in New York and will host a discussion on institutional capital entering prediction markets at the event on October 22-23, according to Decrypt. NEXTPredict co-founder Pierre Lindh said it is the first bank to publicly engage with the sector. The discussion will be led by Stephen Grambling, Morgan Stanley's head of U.S. gaming, lodging and leisure research, and will focus on opportunities, market structure and risks around institutional capital entering prediction markets. About 90% of prediction-market liquidity and volume is still concentrated in sports contracts, but some financial institutions have begun exploring applications in market forecasting, internal forecasting and corporate risk hedging. Morgan Stanley also took part in Kalshi's $1 billion Series F round completed in May.
