Sonic V2.2 Launches with Technical Upgrades and Commercial Restructuring

Sonic Labs has officially launched V2.2, introducing features such as bundled transactions, gas sponsorship, increased smart contract capacity, and a new execution engine with MCP server support. Alongside the technical release, the company announced a commercial restructuring into four vertical business directions: payments, AI, RWA, and prediction markets. Additionally, Sonic has halted non-validator token emissions to address long-standing concerns regarding token dilution.
