The company reduced API pricing for these models by 50% compared to the GPT-5.6 promotional rate. According to OpenAI, GPT-6 Sol outperformed Claude Opus 5 in Zapier's AutomationBench and achieved competitive results in the OSWorld 2 computer usage test at a significantly lower cost.
