U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis criticized Democratic lawmakers for allegedly prioritizing personal opposition to Donald Trump over national policy, which she claims led to the failure of the Crypto Clarity Act. Lummis argued that despite the bill's goal of providing legal stability for the digital asset industry, Democrats adopted a confrontational stance, choosing to keep the sector in a state of regulatory ambiguity rather than seeking a compromise.
