Zest Protocol Launches Bitcoin Collateral Vaults Mainnet Demo

Zest Protocol has launched a limited mainnet demonstration for its Bitcoin Collateral Vaults. The system allows users to deposit native BTC into self-custodial vaults on the Bitcoin L1 and borrow USDC on EVM networks like Ethereum without wrapping or bridging assets. Vault status is verified via BitVM proofs. The demo currently operates with wallet-based limits as the protocol prepares for external audits and institutional partnerships.
