Malicious iOS app Fomopeek steals $580,000 in USDT

A malicious iPhone application named Fomopeek, previously available on the Apple App Store, has been linked to the theft of approximately $580,000 in USDT. Security firm SlowMist and OKX researchers discovered that versions 1.1 and 1.2 of the app contained hidden modules capable of bypassing the iOS sandbox. These modules allowed attackers to access the device's Keychain, exposing locally stored private keys, seed phrases, and login credentials from other applications. The app reportedly communicated with external command-and-control servers to receive instructions.
