XRPL addresses critical pre-mainnet vulnerability as BatchV1_1 amendment nears activation

XRP Ledger (XRPL) validators are moving toward the activation of the BatchV1_1 amendment, currently scheduled for September 29 at 14:06:41 UTC. This follows a critical authorization flaw discovered in February within the original Batch amendment, which allowed for potential unauthorized transactions. While the vulnerability was mitigated before reaching the mainnet, the upcoming activation serves as a live test of the network's amendment and software ecosystem. XRPL Labs confirmed that no user funds were compromised during the incident.
