Coinbase assists in takedown of AI-powered phishing platform EvilTokens

Coinbase's global intelligence team helped law enforcement dismantle EvilTokens, a phishing-as-a-service platform that used AI to bypass multi-factor authentication. The platform facilitated business email compromise and fraud, with Coinbase tracking $1.1 million in illicit funds across four Tron blockchain addresses. London police arrested the operator on Sept. 11, while Microsoft has seized 50 websites and disabled over 175 related domains.
