Hayden Adams Claims SBF Purchased Uniswap.com to Intimidate Uniswap Labs

Uniswap founder Hayden Adams alleged that Sam Bankman-Fried purchased the Uniswap.com domain for a seven-figure sum to taunt the company. Adams stated that Uniswap Labs had previously declined to pay the high asking price for the domain. Following the acquisition, the domain redirected users to a SushiSwap page, which the WIPO later ruled as an act of bad faith. A WIPO panel eventually ordered the transfer of the domain to Uniswap Labs in 2021, rejecting claims that the respondent was unaware of the company's trademark rights.
