TypeSafe AI introduces Jev, a semantic decision engine

TypeSafe AI has released Jev, a specialized model designed for decision-making tasks rather than text generation. Unlike traditional large language models, Jev outputs structured data such as probability distributions, scores, or boolean values based on input states and predefined questions. It is optimized for system workflows, offering speeds up to 200 times faster and costs 400 times lower than generative models by eliminating the need for token-by-token text generation and JSON parsing. Jev is currently available for use.
