Apple reportedly developing enterprise AI server featuring M8 Ultra processors

Apple (苹果) is reportedly developing an enterprise-grade AI server potentially equipped with two to four unreleased M8 Ultra processors. Targeting AI developers, large enterprises, and government agencies, the server is designed for AI inference tasks and may incorporate NVLink technology. While Apple and NVIDIA (英伟达) have not commented, supply chain sources suggest Apple is leveraging the growth of its Mac series as personal AI workstations. Additionally, Xiaomi (小米) is reportedly exploring edge AI cabinet solutions, having recently introduced its AI Cube workstation concept.
