TSMC N2 process enters mass production, supply chain partners see growth opportunities

TSMC (台积电) has initiated mass production of its 2nm N2 process, marking a transition from FinFET to GAA architecture. The shift is expected to drive demand for advanced equipment, CMP consumables, and recycled wafers, benefiting suppliers such as Kinik (中砂), Phoenix Silicon International (昇阳半), Advanced Material Technology (新应材), and Song Sheng (颂胜). The N2 process, utilizing nanosheet GAA, offers significant improvements in performance and power efficiency compared to N3E, with chip density increasing by over 15%.
