SecondFi Warns Users Against Claiming NIGHT Tokens via Compromised Wallets

Crypto wallet application SecondFi has issued a warning regarding the risks of claiming NIGHT tokens for users affected by a previous security incident. Although the claim window opens on September 22, the Midnight Foundation system requires claims to be made from original wallet addresses, which remain permanently insecure. SecondFi advises users not to use compromised wallets to avoid theft and notes that its own migration and recovery tools do not support NIGHT claims. Users are encouraged to contact the Midnight Foundation directly. The security incident, which occurred between June 21 and 23, resulted in the theft of approximately 16.1 million ADA (worth about $2.6 million) across 374 wallets.
