Major European stock indices close lower, DAX 30 falls 1.65%

European stock markets saw broad declines on September 18. The German DAX 30 dropped 1.65% to 25,308.88, the UK FTSE 100 fell 1.53% to 10,651.02, and the French CAC 40 declined 1.49% to 8,065.02. Other indices including the Euro Stoxx 50, Spain's IBEX 35, and Italy's FTSE MIB also recorded losses.
