Coinbase CEO Criticizes WSJ Coverage of CLARITY Act

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong responded to reports that The Wall Street Journal is blaming him and Coinbase for the failure of the CLARITY Act (US digital-asset market-structure bill). Armstrong stated that the publication has maintained a hostile stance toward the bill and echoed banking lobbyist perspectives. He clarified that while he opposed an initial draft in January due to flaws regarding DeFi and stablecoins, he strongly supported the final version submitted to the Senate.
