New York Couple Sentenced for Stealing $150,000 from Elderly Man

A New York couple, Bonnie and Craig Stiner, received two-year prison sentences after pleading guilty to stealing over $150,000 from a 92-year-old Delaware man. Between January 2022 and March 2023, the pair repeatedly accessed the victim's bank account and pawned valuable coins taken from his safe deposit boxes to fund personal expenses. The Delaware Department of Justice secured the convictions, and the defendants are now required to pay restitution to the victim's family.
