Galaxy Research: Crypto VC Investment Rebounds to $5.6 Billion in Q2

Crypto venture capital activity rebounded in Q2 2026, with $5.6 billion invested across 384 deals, according to Galaxy Research. While total investment grew by 31% quarter-over-quarter, fundraising for new funds remains challenging, with only five new funds raising $3.9 billion, the lowest count since Q4 2019. Based on the first half of 2026, annual investment is projected to reach $20.037 billion. Late-stage deals dominated with a 77% share, while US-based startups captured 73.5% of the total capital.
