Galaxy Research: Crypto VC Funding Rose 31% in Q2 2026

A report by Galaxy Research indicates that the crypto and blockchain sector saw 384 venture capital deals in Q2 2026, totaling $5.68 billion, a 31% increase from the previous quarter. Growth was largely driven by late-stage financing. Exchange, investment, and lending firms secured approximately $3.523 billion, accounting for about 60% of the quarterly total, with US-based companies receiving 73.5% of the funds. Meanwhile, crypto VC fundraisings reached $3.9 billion across only five new funds, a multi-year low in terms of fund count.
