CertiK and National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic sign MOU for CBDC collaboration

Blockchain security firm CertiK (CertiK) and the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic (NBKR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on September 9 to collaborate on the security and regulatory oversight of the bank's CBDC project, Digital Som. The partnership will focus on security assessments, formal verification, and cybersecurity. Additionally, the parties are considering the implementation of CertiK's Supervision and Compliance solution to enhance risk monitoring and regulatory adherence.
