Upbit to list JPYC and PYUSD

Upbit will list the JPYC stablecoin and the PayPal-backed PYUSD on September 17. Both assets will be supported across KRW, BTC, and USDT markets. JPYC CEO Noritaka Okabe expressed optimism regarding the potential for the Japanese stablecoin and noted expectations for a review of the current 1 million yen issuance and redemption cap.
