Ripple adds support for Machine Payable Protocol in latest developer kit

Ripple has updated its XRP Ledger AI Starter Kit to version 1.1, introducing support for the Machine Payable Protocol (MPP) and open wallet standards. Developed by Stripe and Tempo, MPP enables AI agents to utilize XRP and RLUSD for payments regarding data and computing services. While the software is currently in the testing phase, RippleX aims to establish XRP and RLUSD as primary payment options for developers. The integration follows Ripple's previous support for the x402 standard in June.
