Group Claiming Revolut Breach Demands 6,000 Monero

A group identifying as "iamnotavillain" claims to have breached Revolut, stealing data on approximately 680 customers identified as crypto whales through on-chain analysis. The group is demanding 6,000 XMR, valued at roughly $3 million, within 24 hours, threatening to sell the data to other criminal entities if the ransom is not paid. Revolut stated it has had no direct contact with the group. Meanwhile, Italian authorities are investigating a separate incident involving unauthorized access to a prefecture's email account, with the national anti-mafia and anti-terrorism prosecutor's office involved.
