Flop Labs, led by CEO Arthur Hayes (BitMEX co-founder), has published the v0.5.0 yellow paper for Flop Network, a protocol designed for AI agents. The network allows AI agents to pay for AI inference using the native token FLOP, while miners provide the necessary computational resources. The protocol utilizes a Proof of Useful Inference (PoUI) mechanism to verify computations and employs a 100% fair launch model with no pre-sales or venture capital allocations. The network plans to conduct an airdrop in Q4 2026, with the genesis block expected in Q1 2027.
