Bitmine adds 27,180 ETH, nearing 5% global supply target

Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) increased its Ethereum holdings by 27,180 ETH last week, bringing its total assets to $15.8 billion. The company has now reached 98% of its goal to hold 5% of the global ETH supply. Bitmine has staked approximately 5.07 million ETH, generating significant annual yield. Chairman Tom Lee identified four market catalysts: the upcoming U.S. CLARITY Act vote, capital rotation from Korean AI stocks, the crypto cycle bottoming, and long-term tailwinds from tokenization and agentic AI.
