Through embedded finance, infrastructure for payments and commerce can incorporate digital assets seamlessly. Cunti emphasized that while liquidity remains foundational, the ability to coordinate payment channels, custody, and compliance across regulatory environments—supported by frameworks like MiCA—is becoming critical. Gate Europe aims to leverage its dual MiCA and payment institution licenses to bridge digital assets with broader financial ecosystems.
